The European Court of Human Rights (The ECtHR) has issued numerous judgments on the unlawful practices and mass human rights violations in Türkiye. As of the end of May 2024, 49 violation decisions affecting 1,658 people were issued and 7,486,038 Euros (262,011,330 TL) in compensation was paid. This booklet prepared by our Foundation presents a summary of the ECtHR’s decisions against Türkiye. This work has been carefully created with the hope of helping to end the serious human rights violations in Türkiye.
